In a harrowing turn of events, a 28-year-old resident of Maganjo ‘B’ in Nabweru Division, discovered the decomposed remains of 2-year-old Keeya Adrian around 1700hrs on 12th November 2023, in a swamp, accompanied by an unidentified friend.
Keeya Adrian, reported missing on 2nd November 2023 by her aunt, Ainembabazi Masitula, under heavy rain conditions, had been entrusted to her care by the victim’s mother, Kyalikunda Carol of Wankulukuku, Kitebi.

The body, tragically missing its head, hands, and legs, was reported to the secretary for women in Maganjo ‘B,’ who promptly alerted the police. Swift action was taken, with statements recorded from witnesses and a meticulous crime scene examination led by the Scene of Crime officer.
The victim’s remains were conveyed to Mulago City Mortuary for a thorough postmortem examination.
At this stage, inquiries are ongoing, and the police are dedicated to ensuring a thorough investigation into this heartbreaking incident.
