The Anti-Stock Theft Unit (ASTU) has recovered eight cows stolen Karamoja.
AIP Mike Longole the Mt Moroto regional police spokesperson said the cows were recovered by Loroo ASTU forces after suspected cattle raiders on citing the forces on patrol took off and abandoned the animals.
Longole said while at the detach after recovery, claimants from Nabilatuk came and identified the animals.
ASTU drove all the recovered animals to Loroo holding ground pending handover to the rightful owners.
“We congratulate our personnel for the Job well done,” Longole said.
