Two suspected Allied Democratic Forces agents have been arrested in different parts of the country.
A one Masiko Farouk was arrested in Rwenzori Western by police .
According to Fred Enanga , Masiko admitted that he had been a member of the ADF following his kidnap in 2015 by the rebel group .
However ,he had since escaped from DRC and returned to his home place in Ibanda after which he transferred to Kitagwenda for casual work.
“The community being vigilant alerted our time of his unusual behaviour and we were able to arrest him.”
The other suspect has been identified as Komakech Rasuuli who was arrested through police CBS operations. He was kidnapped at 7 years to join the ADF.
He too claims to have escaped, however according to Enanga , he was found with ammunitions which causes questions around his stay in Kampala .
This came as a result of operations that have been ongoing concerning the 2021 November double blasts along Parliamentary Avenue and the Central Police Station in Kampala.
