After five days of wondering about who was the the teacher in a viral video forcing nursery children to lick their private parts and play sex infront of others in a classroom, police have identified the culprit as teacher Juliet of Visionary Academy in Naalya Nansese, Muduuma sub-county, in Mpigi district.
Even though police Identify the teacher by one name Juliet, Daily Press has established that her surname is Nantongo. Information intimated to Daily Press shows she is already in police custody and likely to appear in court not later than Wednesday this week.
The video that emerged on Wednesday last week showed children who had been reported by peers being forced to redo all the sexual acts they had allegedly done as the teacher filmed.
The Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) cyber team embarked on tracing for the location of the school. Much as the first information suspected that the video was shot from Mukono and Buikwe districts, it has since been confirmed that the incident happened in Mpigi district.
Police Spokesperson, Fred Enanga, said the school’s headteacher a one, Mulangira Ssenkandwa, has revealed that the children in the video and four others had been engaging sexual activities in the classroom.
Mulangira told police that such incidents have been happening in the classrooms of the nursery children but teachers got to learn about them very late.
Enanga said the suspected teacher Juliet is on the run but she is being hunted to explain why she forced such young children to demonstrate sexual activities instead of guiding them.
In the video, teacher Juliet is heard shouting on top of her voice tell the girl and boy to what they had done when they were seen by their colleagues.
The teacher beat up the children something that made the girl to remove her, lay on the floor with legs spread and the boy directed his mouth to her genital thus demonstrating oral sex.
This video attracted wide condemnation. One parent petitioned the CID to trace, arrest and prosecute the teacher.
Not teacher Juliet is need but even two others who were allegedly in the room watching as teacher Juliet unleashed brutality on the children in the guise of disciplining them for what was termed as immoral.
