Police have disclosed identities of two of the three assailants who were allegedly involved in the murder of the Ndiga Clan leader, Daniel Bbosa and both of the names are from the same clan.
This is after Bbosa who is also the proprietor of Transa Electrical Company Limited was shot dead yesterday inside his car near his home in Lungujja parish, Rubaga division in Kampala by gunmen on a motorcycle who later also lynched by the mob.
The suspects has been identified as Enock Sserunkuuma, a resident of Lungujja who died on spot after being lynched by the mob and Noah Luggya who survived death and currently undergoing treatment at Mulago National Referral hospital.
Police Spokesperson, Fred Enanga says that a CT scan was done on Luggya today morning, with no any fracturing injuries found on him and currently is conscious and under the guard of Kampala Metropolitan Police.
“We thank the community for their vigilance, especially boda boda for courageously pursuing the assailants. “We expect our teams to get very good information out of him as investigations continue. Enanga noted”
According to police investigations, the third suspect managed to escape and went into a hide while the gun and the motorcycle with original number UFX 854F that was tap sealed with a fake number UEX 754E were recovered.
Enanga noted that the motive of the murder has not yet been determined, noting that detectives are currently recovering CCTV footage from the area for any useful information whereas the gun has been submitted to ballistic experts.
Meanwhile police have confirmed that the widow Glades Bbosa and their maid Peace Nambaale who were with the deceased in a Land Cruiser number UAH 637X coming from a family function, are in good condition.
