Social media platform X is awash with pleas for the president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to retire Moses Ali.
Moses Ali , second Deputy Prime Minister General (Rtd) in Uganda has been battling a strange disease that has manifested during some public gatherings since 2021.
At 84 years , the member of cabinet at national events not only once has been seen struggling with sitting in a chair , in addition to him collapsing one time at parliament.
The latest is a video clip uploaded on X of Ali struggling to sit in a chair during a public event.

Pius Jadwar, whose post went viral captioned the video saying noting that ; ” Moses Ali should retire! This video is embarrassing.”
Another X user Pius Oscar responded saying; “The dr that is treating this man should have asked him to leave public life and rest. Or in the alternative the appointing authority should exercise his powers and save Moses Ali from this kind of embarrassment!! Provide all that he needs to be at his disposal and he stays home.”
Kyemba Timothy on X streets also notes ;
“Dear Kaguta Museveni , please retire Gen. Moses Ali in public interest.
There’s nothing of substance that he can deliver in his health status,save for being a public embarrassment.
He’s done his part, it’s proper you let him rest away from the public gallery.”
The calls followed on that Moses Ali retires and seeks medical attention.
Initially , the constitution stipulated that cabinet members serve up to 75 years , however with amendments under the NRM government, the age limit was scrapped.
