The Prime Minister of Uganda, Robinah Nabbanja has called on police to find the source of a trending social media video alleging that it was her.
The video has been trending on X , showing a woman who a number have referred to as Nabbanja in celebration during sport .
The woman’s mode of celebration got a number wondering and musing over the prime minister as in the video she took a fall while celebrating, after which she was later helped up.
Through a letter signed off by Charles Odongtho, the principal public relations officer of the office of the Prime Minister , the video was spoken of as an act of deliebrate smear , unfair attack and falsified accusation against Nabbanja.
The Prime Minister emphasised that she is not the woman in the video and as well called on CID to pin those responsible for the wide sharing of the video .
In part the later read; “establish those behind the wide sharing of such false , slanderous, malicious content , what their motives are and ensure they face the law.”
