Former Lubaga South MP Kato Lubwama is Dead

Former Lubaga South MP, Kato Lubwama, has died this morning in a clinic in Bunamwaya, Wakiso district.

Lubwama served as an MP of the 10th parliament and his victory was challenged by his rival Habibu Buwembo.

However, Lubwama served for the entire term without court verdict. He contested again in 2021 parliamentary elections but lost to Alloysius Mukasa.

Before becoming an MP, Lubwama was known for his comedy and drama he did for more than 20 years.

He’s been one of the most loved person by vloggers, bloggers and entertainment journalists in the country.

He also served as a radio presenter on CBS FM at Bulange- Mengo. Ever since he lost the MP election, he turned his guns against NUP President Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine who he’s been criticizing for everything.

It is alleged that Lubwama died of a heart attack and his burial arrangements will be announced later.
