26 Amudat Pupils Served Food Laced with Poison

Territorial Police in Amudat on 6/3/2024 have registered a case of suspected food poisoning of twenty six (26) pupils of Kalas Primary School within Amudat Town council, Amudat District.

It alledged that on 6.3.2024 at around 1100pm the said pupils developed stomach, throat and heart pain after consuming cookies that they found wrapped in a polythene paper inside one of the classrooms.

Be ready for census

After getting this devastating information Police rushed to the scene and evacuated the affected pupils to Amudat Hospital for treatment so far 22 pupils have been discharged and 04 pupils are still being monitored in the Hospital by the medical staff.

We have opened General Inquiry File to gather more information concerning this incident and any member of the public who may have some relevant information pertaining the incident can approach our detectives.
