After a month of sleepless nights for candidates and parents, the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) has finally released the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) for Namugingo Martyrs Way. The school is located in Nabusugwe, Goma Division, Mukono Municipality, in Mukono District.
Although PLE results were released on January 25, 2024, UNEB withheld Martyrs Way results on suspicion of malpractice particularly SST paper.
This has been giving candidates and parents sleepless nights as many wondered what was going to be the next course of action.
Many parents had been putting the school administration on pressure to have results of their children released so that they do not repeat primary seven.
However, the long wait has come to an end after UNEB last evening released the results and they have officially today been received at the school.
The school administration has since expressed happiness and called upon the candidates to collect their results so that they can join secondary schools.
“The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of Martyrs Way Nursery and Primary School, Namugongo Sonde, Congratulate their 2023 Primary Seven candidates on the excellent performance in 2023 PLE,” read the statement.
