Police in Nsangi have arrested three suspects in connection to being in possession of Counterfeit currency to wit
US dollars, Uganda currency and suspected illegal Narcotic substances.
On 18 Sept 23 at around 1700 hours, Police received information about suspicious people who had rented a three (03) bedroomed house in Bandwe, KyengeraTown Council in Wakiso district.
Police immediately swung into action with a view of verifying the same information for necessary action to be taken.

On arrival at the alleged house where the criminals were, it was surrounded and cordoned off not to allow the escape of the targeted persons.
An immediate search was conducted at their rented 3-bedroom house in which Counterfeit currency worth thirty-five thousand and two hundred (US$ 35,200) in the denominations of 100 USD notes.
Seven (7) million Uganda Shillings Counterfeit of the denominations of fifty (Shs 50,000) & twenty (Shs 20,000) thousand shillings were recovered.
Three (03) suspects namely Inkonero Idrisa, Musoke Geofrey, and Jajja Kyeyune Simom were arrested.
Court bail documents from Nsangi Magistrates Court and unidentified bones were retrieved from the scene pending submission to Government Analytical Laboratory for analysis.
Suspected marijuana drugs/substances were recovered.
Investigations into the matter continues.
