The Uganda People’s Defense Forces have strongly condemned through the spokesperson Brigadier General Felix Kulayigye the recruitment of minors into combat activities.
Kulayigye, explaining the ADF incidents at the Ministry of Defense in Kampala, was accompanied by the 48 ADF victims rescued who of which a big number comprised are minors below 18 years of age.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday, Kulayigye applauded Armnest Commission and the Bridgeway Foundation an organisation that is dedicated to ending and preventing mass atrocities around the world, for the efforts made in facilitating the innocent Africans who have been victims of ADF.

The Uganda People’s Defense Forces is also willing to talk peace in anyway as long as somebody presents an agenda, he said.
“Use of children in the combat is total abuse of their rights and the UPDF is working with Bridge Way foundation to rehabilitate the ADF ex combatants from the DRC following heightened operation Shujaa, however the government of Uganda will not rest while the ADF is continuing to violate even the children rights.”
Kulayigye included that so far, 48 both Ugandans and Congolese ADF elements, 23 were captured during attempted Ntoroko incursion in Dec 2022, of these Ugandans included 5 male adult , 5 female children, 12 male children , 4 juveniles, yet Congolese included 2 male adults, 2 female adults, 8 female children and 10 male children.
