Mark Losike allegedly stabbed to death Anna Mary Nakoru 38, and her mother Maritina Lopiido 60, on April 27, 2023 at Kanakomol village, Moroto district.
Losike was yesterday arrested at around 4 pm, security forces through intelligence networks.
“Losike Mark male adult in his late 50s, resident of Champswahili Chini, South Division, Moroto Municipality, Moroto District was nabbed by security agencies while in his hideout in Nabokat village, Nangorit parish, Nadunget Sub County , Moroto District,” Mike Longole the Mt Moroto regional police spokesperson.
Longole has thanked the general community for their vigilance and timely reporting of the suspected criminal.
“We promise to continue with total cooperation with you (community) to fight criminality. Remain calm as we complete inquiries to this matter,” Longole said.
Security forces who took part in the arrest of Losike have also been thanked. Longole said security circles who participated in this operation exhibited professional knowledge during the arrest of the suspect, and it was a job well done.
“Losike Mark and others will appear in courts of law to answer charges of murder,” Longole said.
