The Busoga Kingdom is celebrating the birth of Prince Ezra Yosia Nadiope, the third son of His Majesty William Wilberforce Nadiope Gabula IV, the Kyabazinga of Busoga, and Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi, the Inhebantu of Busoga.
The announcement was made by Prince Arnold Nadiope at Bugembe Royal Palace on behalf of the Kyabazinga. The occasion was attended by several Kingdom officials, including the Minister of Culture, Owek. Richard Mafumo. In a statement, the Royal Family said the young Prince was born on November 1, 2026, describing his arrival as a moment of immense joy, gratitude and thanksgiving to Almighty God.
The birth has been made even more special by the fact that Prince Ezra shares his birthday with his father, the Kyabazinga, creating a memorable coincidence for the Royal Family and the entire Busoga Kingdom. Prince Arnold Nadiope also confirmed that both the Inhebantu and the newborn Prince are in excellent health.
The Royal Family expressed gratitude to the people of Busoga, relatives, friends and well-wishers for their prayers, love, encouragement and support during the joyous occasion. In celebrating the birth, the Royal Family drew inspiration from the Bible, quoting Psalm 127:3: “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.”
The family prayed for God’s continued blessings, protection and guidance upon the young Prince, wishing him good health, wisdom and a bright future. The birth marks another joyful moment for the Busoga royal family and the wider kingdom.
