Jack Tukahirwa 66, has been cut to death by unknown people in Kisoro district. Police have so far arrested two suspects for questioning.
Tukahirwa was a resident of Kyogo village, Kagunga parish, Bukimbiri sub county, Kisoro district.
ASP Elly Mate, the Kigezi regional police spokesperson, said Tukahirwa left the bar of one Fred Tukacungurwa and on his way home, he was attacked by assailants who cut him to death.
Mate explained that his grandson one, Gordon Turyamureba, found his body lying in a pool of blood and informed relatives who later informed police.
Police experts visited and processed the scene and later on arrested two suspects. Mate said the suspects will help in police investigations.
“Postmortem was done from Kisoro hospital and body handed over to the relatives for burials,” ASP Mate said.
