Police in Nsangi is investigating the sudden death of Patricia, a sex worker residing in Kasenge, Kyengera Town Council, Wakiso District.
Patrick Onyango the Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson said the incident occurred on September 9, 2025, under circumstances that have raised questions.
Onyango said Patricia was with Muwonge Godi also known as Kabaka Aperu at Sanyuka Lodge starting from 4 am on September 7, 2025, where they paid Shs 10,000 for a room.
“The pair would go out drinking and return in the mornings to sleep. On September 9, 2025, they returned around 9 am; Patricia was reportedly very drunk and couldn’t enter the room. Muwonge Godi tried to help by buying milk, but she was found dead,” Onyango said.
Police said Muwonge Godi fled the scene and the information was brought to the police attention by the lodge staff.
“Police were notified, examined the scene, recorded witness statements, and recovered the milk container. Patricia’s body was taken to the city mortuary for a postmortem examination,” Onyango said.
Nsangi Police Division has opened a death enquiry file to investigate the circumstances surrounding Patricia’s death. The postmortem report may provide crucial insights into the cause of death.
