Uganda Police Force (UPF) has announced a 50 million shillings bounty on the killer of Entebbe couple David Mutaaga and Deborah Florence Mutaaga.
The Mutaagas were killed by a masked man on on Sunday of July 6, 2025. Mutaaga was aged 69 while Deborah was aged 62 and had recently retired from their work in Zurich, Switzerland.
The killer scaled over a wall, and in the video released by Uganda Police. “We registered the murder of Mr. Mutaaga David and his wife, Deborah Florence Mutaaga in Entebbe. In collaboration with other security agencies, the police are actively searching for the suspects and gathering evidence,” Assistance Commissioner of Police -ACP Kituuma Rusoke, the Uganda Police Spokesperson, said today in a briefing.
ACP Mutaaga said: “We have obtained a recording of the suspect’s voice and urge anyone who recognizes it to come forward and help identify the individual. A reward of fifty million shillings (UGX 50,000,000/=) been offered by Uganda Police to anyone who provides information leading to the suspect’s apprehension.”
