Today the National Unity Platform unveiled our candidate for the Kawempe North Parliamentary by-election — Mr. Luyimbaazi Erias Nalukoola.
I congratulate him for emerging victorious in a highly competitive process. As I said today, most of these candidates were great, and yet we can only field one candidate!
I encouraged all candidates and supporters to rally behind the successful candidate and ensure that we retain this seat.
Most importantly, this election must be seen as a central part of the revolutionary election slated for 2026. I thank and congratulate all candidates who showed up to compete.
It takes courage. I also thank NUP’s Election Management Committee for a job well done. Let’s now hit the ground running!
