Thousands of revellers at Buganda Kingdom end of year fete known as Enkuuka were excited for seeing Kabaka Ronald Mutebi II looking more healthier than the previous years.
Kabaka Mutebi has been unwell for nearly three years and his appearance has been a subject of concern for Buganda kingdom subjects as well as the well wishers.
But today the Kabaka appear looking very healthy and he too thanked Ugandans who have kept him in their prayers which have helped to make him well.
This excited thousands of attendees and a thunderous handclap embarked with ululations engulfed the Lubigi. Other than the Kabaka’s appearance, Ugandans were treated to numerous performances from musicians such as King Saha, Bebe Cool, Eddy Kenzo, Mickie Wine, Dax Vybz, Chris Evans, Spice Diana, Ava Peace, and comedians led by Amooti Omubalanguzi.
Security was heightened at Nkuuka and other places of entertainment and worship in Kampala to ensure no incidents of havoc are registered.
