The much-anticipated concert by the boy band singing trio B2C, initially scheduled for May 10th, 2024, has been postponed.
This decision comes after a scheduling conflict arose with fellow artist Ray G, who recently announced his concert on the same date at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Despite B2C Entertainment having announced their concert first, Ray G, hailing from Mbarara, surprised many by revealing plans for his “Ray G Live In Concert Twena HAMWE” show on the 10th of May at Lugogo Cricket Oval. This unexpected move threw a challenge into the plans of both parties, prompting them to scramble for a resolution.
Ray G’s choice of venue, Lugogo Cricket Oval, raised eyebrows as it appeared unusually large for his profile, especially considering his base in Western Uganda, which isn’t as popular in Kampala.
Nevertheless, his devoted fans have pledged overwhelming support. With B2C pulling down their concert, it seems they have eased the competition for Ray G, granting him the spotlight for the day unless another artist intervenes.
It remains unclear whether B2C’s decision to postpone their concert was a gesture of support for Ray G or due to other undisclosed circumstances.
This isn’t the first time B2C found itself in a scheduling clash. Last year, they faced off against the legendary singer Juliana Kanyomozi. Despite the simultaneous concerts, both acts managed to sell out their shows, owing to differences in venue and audience.
