Kasangati Police is actively investigating the discovery of seven abandoned number plates for motorcycles and vehicles in a bush along Gayaza Road, at a location identified as Kumbuzi.
The plates were uncovered today, January 15, 2024, during a routine maintenance operation by the UNRA team. The team Promptly informed the Traffic Officer incharge Kasangati Police , along with a team of officers , they responded swiftly. The recovered plates are currently in the custody of Kasangati Police station as investigations are underway to determine ownership.
At this stage, no suspects have been apprehended. Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
