Civil Aviation Appeals to Travelers To Reach the Airport Hours Earlier During The Festive.
Vianney M. Luggya, the Spokesperson of Uganda Civil Aviation Authority has appealed to air travelers to report at least three hours before their flight at the airport.
Luggya gave this as caution due to the bulge in load of travelers all over the nation moving to several places for the festive season.
“The festive season is usually busier than usual at the Entebbe International Airport, and as we head into Christmas celebration I expect more people leading up to the roads of the airport. I therefore take this opportunity to appeal to departing travelers to give more time, at least three hours prior to departure time to avoid inconveniences,” Luggya said.
At the moment within Kampala and surrounding areas, passengers have experienced heavy traffic along the routes. A one driver Mukulu Sedu reported to have spent 3hours just to move from Mukono to Kampala town last week.
He users reminded airport users of the possibility of using mobile money for car parking as they exit the parking.
