The Counter Terrorism police together with Kampala Metropolitan Police have arrested a suspect with bomb making material.
Mugabi Collins who comes from Banda was found in possession of a bomb and other bomb making items.
The others were 3 jerrycans in his house containing sulphuric acid, methanol and potassium nitrate.
According to Fred Enanga , the police spokesperson,Mugabi was also found with written documents with step by step directions on making a bomb.

Police was attracted into investigation in this are of Banda Zone II Nakawa division after a bomb was set off.
“Our teams were alerted by locals after one of the IEDs that Mugabe had manufactured went off when he mistakenly tampered with it,” police spokesperson, Enanga told journalists on Monday.”
Fortunately, no one was hurt according to Enanga because the people in the community communicated in time and police acted swift enough .
Police will go ahead with investigations as to what the suspect is after . Uganda has lately been threatened by rebel groups and acts of terrorism which keep the nation of high alert .
