A Uganda People’s Defence Forces-UPDF Corporal has shot dead two of his colleagues in Fort portal according to Col Deo Akiiki.
“We received an incident report about one Cpl Avugo Lomuro of Mountain Division Signal Department attached to the Air Forces Evacuation Component who
Shot and killed two colleagues
And Injured the others,” Col Akiiki the UPDF Spokesperson said.
Col Akiiki said the hunt for Cpl Lomuro is on but he’s still on the run. Akiiki said he will definitely be brought to book to answer for his crimes.
“The UPDF condemns the act of the soldier in whatever circumstances. We have a clear and well defined mechanism of handling internal grievances and the killer soldier should have followed them,” Akiiki said.
