An operation conducted by the Joint Anti-Terrorism Taskforce –JATT in collaboration with Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence –CMI has led to the killing of three suspected Allied Democratic Forces –ADF terrorists in Kiboga district.
The suspects were killed yesterday night during a fierce fire exchange between JATT and suspected terrorists at Toondo village, Nsala parish, Lwamata Sub-county, in Kiboga district. This killings is recorded on CRB 299/2023.
Security sources have said JATT and CMI went to Kiboga with an ADF linked suspect Shaqur Othuman to arrest his colleagues. Security said upon arrival at the home of the suspected ADF rebels, they directed Othuman to call his colleagues who were inside the house to open.

“Immediately they opened and started shooting at the operatives and there was rifle fire exchange in which three suspected ADF terrorists were put out of action including one who was leading them,” security source said.
The scene was later visited by detectives and scene of crime officers (SOCOs) led by Superintendent of Police –SP Hillary Nuwegereza the Kiboga District Police Commander-DPC. The police team document the scene and picked the exhibits.
Among the exhibits collected from the scene is a Sub-Machine Gun –SMG AK47 with serial number 48016669. “We also picked a Ugandan passport in the names of Shaqur Othuman which was in the house,” source said.
