
Joash Ssali 37 is being hunted by police for sodomizing a Primary Three pupil at Kasisi Day and Boarding school. Police information shows that the pupil narrated his ordeal to his mother that the patrol Ssali was making sexual advances to him and also molesting two other children respectively.
Fred Enanga the police spokesperson said the mother informed the head teacher who reported the matter to police. Police quickly identified all the three victims and subjected them to a medical examination.
“The victim and two others are already traumatised and are undergoing psycho-social support. It was further established that the patron Ssali Joash, as resident of Gezi village, Misindika ward, Kyenjojo Town Council, Kyenjojo District, sexually molested the victim while in the dormitory,” Enanga said.
Police have extolled the head teacher for immediately reporting the matter to police. Security is now hunting for Ssali who escaped from the school after being tipped off by unknown people.

In another shocking incident, police at Kiira Region and Jinja City are investigating circumstances under which a 15 year old male juvenile, at Jinja College was attacked by a group of students, who tied his mouth with a cloth, and his body to a bed.
The students later undressed the victim and pushed a stick into his anus. Police said the victim fell unconscious but was recovered late and rushed to Nile International Hospital, where the stick was removed.
“The victim had reported four students, involved in acts of sodomy, which led to their suspension. We do strongly condemn all forms of sexual violence and torture in schools. Efforts are in place to ensure, the perpetrators are identified and held accountable for their crimes,” Enanga said.
Police have urged all school proprietors and administrators to provide safe learning environments, to ensure the safety and security of students and the school infrastructure. Acts of sodomy have become rampant in all schools.
