“Upon interogations, he confessed to having been involved in various cattle thefts and narrated that on December 12, they raided residents of Busuuju But the locals ganged up and burnt their vehicle while they were loading cows.
“He revealed that one Kimera Francis 34, in order to cover up charges went to Jeza oolice station and reported theft of motor vehicle registration number UBB 891Y,” DCI said.
Police say the matter was investigated and Kimera together with other criminals agreed to settle or compensate the car owner with Shs 16 million,” Onyango said.
