Thugs in CT Uniform Kidnap 2 Prosale Workers, Rob Them Boss’ Shs13M

Police in Kampala have embarked on hunting for thugs donned in a counter-terrorism-like police uniform that have allegedly kidnapped two workers of Prosale Supermarket and robbed them of their boss’ dimes worth 13.9 million shillings.

Alex Baale, the owner of Prosale Good Price Supermarket located in Namasuba said at around 7 am, two of his workers Nazinda and Nsamba signed for 13.9 million shillings going to deposit it at the Equity Duuka agent banking.

When they arrived at the agent banking center, Nazinda and Nsamba said six men who were mean-looking and donned CT attires encircled them, and then dragged them into a waiting Ipsum white in colour.

The duo said they were driven to an unknown destination where they were dumped after money had been taken. The two later found their way to the main road but the criminals had already varnished with the money.

Baale’s kidnap of his workers and robbery of his money are being investigated under SD 11/14/09/2022. Patrick Onyango the Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson did not divulge much but confirmed that an investigation into the crime had commenced.
