Police Arrests 21 in Live Sex Party

Superintendent of Police- SP Patrick Onyango, who is the Kampala metropolitan police mouthpiece, said the suspects currently detained at Kira division police, were arrested in a private home in Kireka township, Kira Municipality, in Wakiso District.

As you read this, 21 people are in police custody after they were arrested in live sex party in the wee hours of Saturday night.

Superintendent of Police- SP Patrick Onyango, who is the Kampala metropolitan police mouthpiece, said the suspects currently detained at Kira division police, were arrested in a private home in Kireka township, Kira Municipality, in Wakiso District.

SP Onyango said police raided the home based on intelligence and covert police personnel were deployed at the nearby places in advance.

“Police in Kampala Metropolitan Area have raided and arrested 21 suspects who participated in a sex party. The party was taking place in a private house located in Kireka, Kira Municipality. Intelligence got information about the party and planted informants to monitor and inform the police when the party has started,” SP Onyango said.

Police said towards midnight, they were notified that the sex game had started and they swung in action. The participants according to police were caught red handed.

“They have been arrested and detained at Kira Division Police Station on charges of disobedience of lawful orders and doing acts that are likely to cause the spread of infectious disease, which is coronavirus,” SP Onyango said.

Police added the suspects’ files are being prepared and they will appear in court on Monday. Their action has been described as defying orders intended to curtail the spread of Covid19.
