AIGP Bamunoba Urges Public to be Vigilant During Xmas

Uganda Police Force (UPF) Director Political Commissariat Assistant Inspector General of Police, Charles Bamunoba, has urged the public to be extra vigilant during this festive season. AIGP Bamunoba was at Kalerwe market as police’s proactive steps to ensure a safe and secure festive season for all.

“As part of the sensitization campaign, AIGP Bamunoba, the Chief Political Commissar, today engaged with traders and community members at Kalerwe market. The meeting aimed to raise awareness about the importance of community-police collaboration in preventing and addressing security threats,” police said on its X page.

AIGP Bamunoba emphasized the need for community members to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police. To demonstrate their commitment to community engagement, police officers participated in a cleaning exercise at Kalerwe market. “AIGP Bamunoba urged all community members to take an active role in ensuring their safety and security by embracing the Neighborhood Watch initiative, by being aware of the surroundings and reporting any suspicious activities.”
