Netizens have cautioned the media to focus on promoting decency among teenagers this year while airing their shows .

According to some of the netizens , media should be able to air teen programs where a parent would comfortably let their child follow.

The point in case ensued from a picture where some of the program hosts dress in reportedly body revealing attire that is a reflection of indecency to teenagers .

Keith Besigye , through a post on X mentioned ; “I think this show should be inspiring the youth !!! A parent should be comfortable leaving his daughter to watch this show. I used to have a 101 with Ollo and he said that one had to dress decently, not do bars to present this show !! A lot has changed.”

Another known as Patrick Ayebazibwe cautioned presenters to be mindful with the most bare aspects as in how they dress when doing teenage shows.

” Which picture are you sending to the young people mostly girls.? To be naked all the time or? First be descent and later talk about the youth.”

Doreen Nimusiima raises a similar concern saying ; “Naye kati are these wearing clothes or and young people are watching them can u imagine..let them go home and wear clothes that fit them batwononede abana.”

The concept of moral decadence among the young people has been a hot topic in parliament for a time now , with initiatives like the anti pornography act which was annuled, LGBTQ bill and many more .

All in a bid to keep young people morally upright On other occasions the responsibility has been pushed to parents but media has been deemed as one of the high propellers for moral decadence.

A parent known as Sharifa luyisa said that this ranges from the language used on the shows , dress code and personalities hosted to entertain teens among others.
