Benjamin Mwibo: A mother has been arrested on allegations of cooking her four months old baby for lack of meat while a man has died in a lodge after using Viagra to satisfy sexual partner. Fred Enanga the police spokesperson, has identified the mother as Nadiyo Manjubo 22, a resident of Kyamanikuwa village, Lore Sub-county, in Yumbe district.
Enanga said detectives have slapped murder charges against Manjubo. This incident happened three days ago at around 4pm. Police said the mother cut the toddler into pieces, placed them in a sauce pan and then boiled them.
Enanga has reminded parents that they have no right to kill their own children and also urged to always liaise with the police whenever they have challenges. Seeking counseling is another way police believe such incidents can be minimized.
Away from the Yumbe incident, a 30 year old man, Justus Ouma, has died in a lodge due to taking an overdose of sexual enhancement pills. Ouma was a boda-boda rider of Buwaya village, Bumuunyi parish, Masia sub-county.
Enanga revealed that the victim had spent three days with his girlfriend, Caroline Auma 25, in a lodge, who claims to have woken up on July 19, 2023 only to realize her partner Ouma had died in the bed.
Police learnt about Ouma’s death through the residents and his body was taken to Masafu general hospital for postmortem. It was established that Ouma’s death resulted from cardiac arrest as a result of viagra.
Enanga has cautioned the public to avoid enhancement pills because once they are misused or not well consumed can affect one’s blood pressure especially during such erotic exercises.
