Police in Kasana town council, Luweero district, is actively investigating a case of conspiracy to commit murder which occurred on Wednesday at around 7pm.
Sam Twineamazima, the Savannah regional police spokesperson, said the survivor who is also the complainant, Moses Kizito, said he owns a hardware at Kakolo zone just next to the hardware of Swaibu Ssemambo, a suspect now.
“Due to competition in the business, Ssemambo allegedly planned with one Baguma Stephen to get killers and kill Kizito. It is alleged that Ssemambo gave Baguma the authority to look for killers,” Twineamazima said.

Police said Baguma went to Makindye military barracks and got connected to some one called Afande Lukwago who also connected him to RA 261250 Pte Atiti Abudal a UPDF officer attached to 16 Battalion Makindye to do the job.
“They agreed on 13million for the mission.
Atiti decided to inform Kizito about the mission who also informed the DPC and crime intelligence,” Tweneamazima said.
After Pte Atiti tipoff, the police crime intelligence officers together with a team of both detectives and non uniformed personnel commanded by OC ASP Francis Oluka made a trap that made them arrest Ssemambo and Baguma.
“Upon their arrest, suspects confessed, an exhibit of 2million shillings meant for Atiti Abud was recovered, a case of conspiracy to commit murder registered, scene visited and statements were recorded,” Twineamazima said.
In May, Cpl Anyuse a UPDF soldier and SP Vincent Irama were arrested on allegations of shooting to death of IBC Advocates clerk Ronnie Mukisa. The case also led to the arrest of a businessman Karedou Irama and his wife.
