
A body of a 40 year old woman, Patience Ensinikweri, has been found in eucalyptus rees in Kabale district.
Ensinikweri was a resident of Hamurambi village, Nyakasharara parish, Kaharo sub-county and her murder is registered on CRB 543/2023.
ASP Elly Mate the Kigezi regional police spokesperson said the deceased allegedly requested her husband, Fred Kangire, to go and visit her parents in Ryarubungo village, Nyakasharara parish, and she was granted.

However, yesterday her lifeless body was found lying in eucalyptus trees near Kizinga trading centre on the road to Hamurambi village half naked and blood oozing through the nose, had a cut on the left ear and a wound on the left eye.
The locals informed Kaharo police post which responded to the scene of crime even though it had already been tempered with.
Kaharo people commander informed his seniors at CPS Kabale which also visited and processed the scene.
“CPS Kabale had moved with the police sniffer dog but little was achieved since the scene was already tempered with. Her body was taken to Kabale regional referral hospital for postmortem,” Mate said.
