“The IGP described the two guards as patriots who deserve a humble reward and gave me shs1,000,000 for the two guards. The RDC Capt Kakooza thanked the IGP for the award to the guards describing it as a motivation to all PSOs and other security personnel. “The Private security guards to have ignored the bribe is exceptional’ Capt Kakooza said. “The event today marks a golden day for us and is inline with HE the President’s message of primary foundation of security which has made Uganda stable” he said.

“Iam happy that when the private security guards for the intelligence about the theft of cattle, they reported to police which was alert, the standby force moved in swiftly and no wonder in the last six months crime rate in Kazo has gone down” he further added.

While welcoming the award to the private security guards by the IGP, he said all the police officers involved in the operation should be rewarded as well because of their quick action on receiving the alert from the private security company.
