The police fraternity is mourning the death of its director for legal Charles Kataratambi who passed away in the morning hours of today.
According to police officers at Naguru police headquarters, AIGP Kataratambi has been ill for sometime.
He was returned to active police services about two years ago after spending several years on indictment on accusations of corruption, bribery and fraud.
His appointment to the directorate of legal shocked many since he had a seemingly tainted image.
Police officers at Naguru said the force was preparing an official statement regarding AIGP Kataratambi’s death.
