Precious Tumuheirwe, a mad who tortured a four year old girl has been sentenced to 40 years in prison. Her Worship, Shallon Niwaha, the Kira Magistrate, sentenced Tumuheirwe on charges of aggravated torture after she pleaded guilty on torturing Clare Precious Tumwekwase on December 27, 2024.
Tumuheirwe’s acts were recorded by a female neighbour using her husband’s mobile phone after severally seeing her tormenting the innocent children. In the video that went viral, Tumuheirwe, was seen biting the girl and also hitting her down on the floor in addition to spreading her legs.
She was a maid for four years since the child’s mother had separated with the father. The convict who is now 35 years old will return to society when she is 75 years old. Her acts have since attracted public condemnation and many have demanded parents to utilize child care homes rather maids especially those whose origin and mental health isn’t known.
