Tax operators in Bwaise have embraced the opening of a new terminal.
The new terminal is an initiative by Kampala City Council Authority to decongest and maintain order in the city .
The Bwaise Terminal as it has been named will be the be a park for tax operators in the area.
As part of preparations for the opening of the terminal , tax operators will be required to go under a ten day test drive period of which today marks the first day for it.

Initially, this was to happen to last month . However due to several concerns from members of Uganda Taxi Operators Federation, the test drive was called off .
Their request was to avail them time to fully understand how the management of the terminal would run and also get the many stages around the park to merge.
At this point this has all been aligned according to the operators and they are ready to kick off.
The park is situated between Northern bypass, Bombo Road and Mambule , stretching out on over 6 acres of land .
