This morning the Electoral commission is releasing a roadmap for the coming elections .
Bukenya Paul, Media and Public Relations Manager said of what is to be expected; “Today is the day when we share what will happen in the next 2 years until the next general elections. Aspiring candidates and political parties need to know and start organizing for funds.”
Bukenya also noted that a communication plan will be passed out ,inorder to see that issues that have reoccurred over time are addressed.

The meeting underway has is a spark for mixed set of reactions.
Akanyijuka Samuel Robert has feed back already on what has happened in the past and he expresses disappointment with the commission.
He says; “But some politicians says general elections in Uganda is not free, fair and transparent. If a politician says voters should not go and vote b’se ballot papers are being rigged during elections?”
One identified as Amanya questions the purpose of organising elections saying; “Can elections money be used to uplift the lives of the poor instead. Elections in Uganda are shambolic and a total wastage of resources. Museveni can rule till he gets tired.”
Uganda holds its elections every after five years. The roadmap is to guide on activities that will be taking place after the 2 years in preparation for the national elections.
